Since 1972, Hoffmann + Krippner relies on the screen-printing technology for various materials. High color brilliance and saturation is provided using the color system RAL Classic and Pantone. Custom ink recipes and proofs can be created for evaluation. For medium and larger print runs, screen printing still provides advantages over digital printing.
When complex color gradients and fine lines are required, however, screen printing reaches its limits. In those cases, digital printing is used. With digital flatbed printers, a resolution of 2160 dpi can be printed on films, glass and substrates. Thanks to digital printing, photorealistic designs are possible.
Special manufacturing process allow for hybrid prints, combining the well-established screen printing with digital printing.
